This is a 1968 Cougar XR7-G Hertz Rent a car which required a ground up restoration.  It was pretty rough under the thick red paint.  It was completed in September of 2007.  Here is the end result.

Some photos of the car when it arrived.  Check out the silver vinyl top!  The customer opted to change the interior to black.  With think it was a wise choice as the contrast is striking.

Once the car was disassembled and media blasted the customer, who owns Blackstone’s Collision in Federal Way, WA handled the body and paint.  Unfortunately he did not take any pictures of the actual body work.

Once back from paint, the assembly process started.
