We just finished some repairs on this 67 XR7. Our customer wants to sell the car and asked if we could offer any assistance. Below are some pictures of the car. First of all this is a one owner car. The current owner’s dad bought the car brand new. It was passed down to him but he rarely uses it. It has been a Washington state car almost all it’s life.
The car is a 289-4V, C4 automatic with Power Steering and Power Drum Brakes. No A/C. Car was painted many years ago and still looks very nice. Interior seats and carpet were redone. The front seats are vinyl. The rear seats have a couple cracks in the leather sections. Carpet is plush, not loop. Engine runs very nice. Newer tires. Our repairs included new gas tank, filters and rebuild carb. We also did the entire brake system (master, booster, wheel cylinders, rear steel brake lines, front brake hoses and all new brake shoes. The cooling system was flushed and a new radiator and thermostat were installed.
The exterior is very straight and the panels all fit nicely. Quality of body work is very nice. There are a few sheet metal issues in the rear wheel wells. Some welding that was not completed and some areas of the wheel housings that need some attention. Overall a very nice driver quality car. Customer is asking $20K for the car.
